Cover Boss has unveiled its Spring Summer 2026 collection

In the striking industrial setting of the Fonderia Macchi Carlo metal workshop in Milan, Boss presented its Spring Summer 2026 collection, an immersive, multi-sensory experience that blurred traditional boundaries to create a playground for creativity and innovation.

According to Marco Falcioni, Creative Director of HUGO BOSS, artistic heritage remains central to the brand’s identity. “The show is a tribute to creativity, and a deeper exploration of BOSS’s relationship with the art world,” he shared, underscoring the label’s enduring collaborations with artists and designers.

To bring this message to life, Boss transformed the Fonderia Macchi into a living artwork. The highlight of the evening was a captivating installation by Dutch contemporary artist Boris Acket, who used light, shadow, movement and sound to create a vibrant, atmospheric performance within the Milanese foundry.

This season, Boss reinvents the wardrobe with a fresh sense of rebellion. Tailoring is deconstructed through artful layering, from shirts worn unbuttoned over one another to slender ties in unexpected proportions.

Men’s short culottes styled with suspenders, or women’s voluminous trousers paired with soft silk shirts and flowing scarves, evoke an after-hours ease, effortless and spontaneous, a counterpoint to the German house’s signature precision.

The Boss design team drew inspiration from multiple sources: the disciplined simplicity of architecture, the clarity of 1960s German industrial design, and the timeless sophistication of the brand’s archives. Clean geometric lines and sharp tailoring define the collection’s modern minimalism.

This interplay of structure and softness runs through every look, reflected in unexpected details, from functional slit pockets to a backless, plunging V-neckline on an ankle-length dress.

The collection also channels the freedom and defiance of 20th-century contemporary dance, subtly weaving in elements of motion and disorder. These seemingly opposing worlds merge into a harmonious flow, embodying the brand’s philosophy that “contrast creates cohesion”, the essence of the Boss Paradox.

The show drew a constellation of global fashion figures to its impressive industrial setting. Among them was former football star David Beckham, long celebrated as an icon of the brand. Impeccably dressed in a plum suit and a sleek knitted turtleneck, Beckham exuded effortless sophistication.
