Jaggy Glarino's BFW collection would take you down memory lane if you grew up in the Philippines.

He says the pieces are inspired by his childhood memories, from their karinderia (translates to cafeteria) to his grandmother's weaved buri mats (banig) and crochet pillow covers.

Models walked down the runway, clad in long dresses and suits made from cotton linen in gingham pattern and floral accents, carrying vacuum flasks (popularly, termos) and banig bags. Glarino's creations captured the Filipino imagination packaged in a campy yet fashion-forward twist. It will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, a feat not many fashion designers can do.
