The highly anticipated Ambani wedding took place over the weekend—we look at some of the best ensembles worn by celebrity attendees
The Ambani wedding finally took place on July 12, after half a year of festivities and events that took place in anticipation of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s nuptials.
It was a star-studded weekend in Mumbai with both Bollywood legends and Hollywood celebrities flocking to attend the event. While it is traditional for wedding guests in India to put their best foot forward outfit-wise, the weekend saw a whole new level of extravagance.

Kardashian sisters Kim and Khloe brought their signature red carpet glam to the Ambani nuptials and wore traditionally celebratory colours—red and gold, respectively—in the form of heavily embellished lehengas designed by Manish Malhotra.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan cut a dashing figure in a minimalistic yet chic pale olive sherwani, and wore a layered gemstone necklace that mirrored his elegantly draped trousers.

Deepika Padukone brought a sense of romantic elegance to the Ambani wedding with her deep burgundy traditional outfit with gold trimmings and accessorised it with red jewels and jasmine flowers in her hair.

Aishwarya Rai arrived at the Ambani wedding in a red anarkali salwar suit, which featured intricate gold embellishing across her jacket and kurta, while her daughter, Aaradhaya, wore a blue anarkali suit with playful gold and green stripes on her dupatta.
