On May 15, 2022, Kourtney Kardashian broke with bridal convention as she wore a corseted mini dress by Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda that's reminiscent of archival Italian lingerie. It was teamed with a lengthy hand-embroidered veil with the depiction of the Virgin Mary and the words "Family", "Loyalty", and "Respect". The luxury brand shared on Instagram that the veil embellishment was inspired by one of Barker's tattoos.
