To start, a layer of topical numbing cream is first applied for 30 to 40 minutes. Each Sofwave session then lasts 40 to 50 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. As a non-invasive treatment, there is minimal discomfort to endure—usually resulting in a slightly flushed visage. Best of all, patients can promptly resume their activities following the procedure. Results are immediately visible due to heat and mild swelling created, resulting in tighter and more rejuvenated-looking skin. But similar to other collagen-stimulating procedures, it will take ten to 12 weeks to see actual results.
