For actress and model Mimi Lana, Sì Passione Éclat de Parfum captures exactly how Mimi Lana feels in front of the camera. “Passion is energy; it is the power that comes from focusing on what excites you. My biggest passion has always been acting. That is where I feel most alive and I’m so grateful to be doing what I love most,” she says.

Since making her acting debut in 2019, she has gained recognition for her scene-stealing performances alongside industry veterans, especially in her latest hit dramas, Perempuan Itu and Villa Kristal. “With every role, I learn and grow as a person," she says, reflecting on her burgeoning career as an actress.

Mimi also imparts advice to fellow women who are discovering and chasing their passions: "Surround yourself with positive people, whether it is friends or family and don't feel pressured to change who you are and what you believe on the road to success! Embrace your own personal path."

Jovane Phang

Since participating in the Miss Chinese International Pageant 2019, Jovane Phang has dedicated herself to “exploring the beauty of life” as an actress, model and content creator. In particular, her Instagram and YouTube Channel documenting her travel, fashion and lifestyle has amassed thousands of followers for being both entertaining and accessible.

Approaching the world with curiosity and independence, her passion shines through in all her endeavours—even when faced with challenges. “I always remind myself why I started my career. I want to continue bringing positive energy to my audience,” she says. "It's important to never stop believing in yourself no matter what happens."

Alia Farouk

Entrepreneur Alia Farouk's journey to discovering her passion was empowering in itself. Taking a long introspective look into her real interests during the pandemic, she co-founded Dia Guild in November 2020, a curated platform on a mission to change the global definition of luxury by housing products from independent Southeast Asian artisans and designers. Dia Guild has since extended its reach in the region and beyond with exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur and London.

"A friend and I once joked about being a jack of all trades, master of none. But even if you start there, putting your time, energy and hard work into the things you enjoy will actually lead you to where you’re supposed to be," she reflects.

However, she also emphasises the importance of perseverance and determination to keep the flames of passions lit.  “The hardest part after having found your purpose is to keep it from dying," she says. "Pursuing your passion is about perseverance, continually working towards something and nurturing something that offers deep fulfilment.”
