L’Oréal Paris tapped in brand ambassadors Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey, Iza Calzado Wintle, Belle Rodolfo, and Deng Garcia to help usher in a new era for the modern-day Filipina

L’Oréal Paris ushers in a new era for the modern Filipina with their #ImWorthIt campaign. Drawing on its iconic slogan, the brand seeks to transform preconceived standards of Filipino femininity through empowerment and resilience. Historically, the Filipina woman’s place in society was defined by her marital status, her proximity to whiteness, and her overall lack of agency.

Through the campaign, L’Oréal aims to shatter barriers for women and break stereotypes, allowing them to embrace their self-worth. “A modern Filipina today has the courage to show her true self and inspire other to fight for their dreams.”

The brand tapped in L’Oréal ambassadors Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey, Iza Calzado Wintle, Belle Rodolfo and Deng Garcia to share stories of how they rose above their insecurities and forged a path towards courage and self-recognition.

Beauty influencer Rodolfo and her partner Garcia shared the trials and tribulations of navigating Filipino society as queer women, while Calzado relayed L’Oréal’s mission to foster empowerment.

“Ultimately, our power must not rely on others. It emanates and should come from ourselves,” Calzado addresses the audience. “Tap into your inner power. This is the mightiest source. And remember this: a woman who believes in herself is unstoppable.”

Wurtzbach recounted her rise to fame and the barriers she broke to reach her full potential. In a rousing speech, she declared, “I’ve let myself be free from the shackles that society has put on me. I’m claiming control and power to achieve my own dreams, from career goals to family goals to the lasting impact my advocacies will leave behind.”
