Marked by radiance, glamour and beauty excellence, the LazBeauty Awards 2023 was truly a night to remember

The power that beauty and self-care have on our lives is undeniable. Beyond mere aesthetics, they exist as channels of self-expression and empowerment that allow us to emanate an inherent radiance from within. Graced by guests in their sparkling smiles and ensembles, the first-ever LazBeauty Awards event was a glorious celebration of this in true Tatler fashion.

Through its expansive selection of sought-after products, LazBeauty under e-commerce giant Lazada has established itself as a reliable source for the needs and wants of local beauty enthusiasts. Sharing their success with those who continue to journey with them, LazBeauty awarded ten exceptional brands and six influential individuals at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila last July 20, 2023.

Mesmerising hues of violet and pink lit up the Grand Ballroom as Lazada and Tatler Philippines ushered in a night of impeccable style. Prominent content creators, LazAffiliates and representatives of beloved beauty brands filled up the venue quickly, exchanging equally sumptuous stories and food along with free-flowing cocktails, wine and bubbly. DJ Christi McGarry’s electrifying beats fittingly soundtracked the evening, which was ultimately about recognising the names which epitomise how beauty is an avenue of everyday empowerment.

Spanning coveted staples and renowned names in the industry, the first ten awardees of the night were Cetaphil, Dove, Happy Skin, Jo Malone London, Kanna Beauty, Kérastase, Kiehl's, MAC Cosmetics, Maybelline and SACE LADY. LazBeauty then went on to recognise top-performing LazAffiliates Ashley Yap, Kryz Uy, Marj Maroket, Miss Nate, Rei Germar and Toni Sia for being the brand’s “Young Champions of Beauty”, receiving trophies presented by LazBeauty brand ambassador and actor Gabbi Garcia.

“One thing I love about LazBeauty is that they support the brands that we love, brands that empower us. I love that we have a community here that really empowers Filipina beauty,” Garcia shared during the recently held event, echoing the reasons LazBeauty has cultivated such a following.
