What is your skin type?

Combination or very complex.

Who or what influenced your skincare routine?

My Mom. I would always peek or even secretly try on her skincare products, like Clinique as early as 16 years old.

How did you find a routine that works for you?

By talking to an expert and also just paying attention to what works for your skin and everyday routine.

What evening skincare products do you use?

As of late, I start with Chanel Le Lait with a warm cotton pad or towel, followed by TDF Metabiotic cleanser prescribed by my dermatologist/client Dr Kaycee Reyes-Bacani of Luminisce. I alternate toners depending on how I see my skin is at, Origins Soothing Treatment Lotion or Dermalogica's Antioxidant Hydramist followed by Lerosett  Moisturiser then Estee Lauder's ANR Serum.

What skincare products do you consider your holy grail?

TDF Metabiotic Cleanser, the Glow Fuel C, and Youth Fairy Cream from Luminisce are amazing.

How about facemasks?

I used to be obsessed with Dr Jart and their facemasks. But as of late, I get my facemasks at Luminisce.

Do you have any skincare horror stories?

I don't. As I say, you only have one face, don't risk it. I am very careful with whatever I do or apply to my face.

Have you ever practised skincare fasting?

I sometimes just wash my face and go to bed. . .let my skin breathe.

I personally believe that if you have a trusted dermatologist that gives you a skincare regimen, you don't need to pile on as many products. Our generation is blessed to have access to a catalogue of non-invasive skin solutions. Knowledge and balance are key and preventive measures can do wonders.

Are there any skincare tips or hacks you wish everyone knew?

I wouldn't call it a hack, but talking to a great Dermatologist and understanding your skin or lifestyle and habits, really help in knowing what works best for you.
