On November 5, Tatler Singapore brought together a curated group of beauty connoisseurs for an afternoon of refined indulgence with La Prairie and Bvlgari Parfums at Takashimaya. Across two sessions, guests were invited to slow down, savour a moment of luxury, and explore the worlds of two legendary beauty brands through immersive, hands-on experiences.
The event began at TWG Tea, where guests were welcomed with an elegant high-tea service. Over delicate pastries, fragrant brews and refreshing tea mocktails, the afternoon set the tone for what lay ahead: a celebration of sensorial richness and the art of self-care. Conversations flowed easily as guests savoured the treats and bonded over their shared interests in beauty and fragrances.

From TWG, the experience unfolded across two pillars of luxury. At La Prairie, guests embarked on a journey inspired by the brand’s heritage of Swiss precision and scientific innovation. A personalised skincare consultation with brand experts gave guests an understanding of their unique skin needs and the formulations best suited to them. They explored La Prairie’s most iconic collections—from the lifting and firming effects of Skin Caviar to the haute-rejuvenation Platinum Rare line—each created with rare ingredients and cutting-edge technology.

A highlight was the tea blending activity, conceived as a tribute to Pure Gold, one of La Prairie’s latest collections. Using ingredients such as green tea, chamomile, and lemon verbena, guests crafted their own bespoke blends that reflected themes of radiance and renewal. The experience concluded with a relaxing hand massage, after which guests departed with a curated door gift—a final gesture of indulgence from the brand.

The journey continued onto Bvlgari Parfums, where fragrance artistry took centre stage. Guests enjoyed a one-on-one consultation to explore the brand’s bold olfactory signatures and discover their individual scent profiles. Many lingered over the Allegra, in particular–the high perfumery collection celebrated for its vibrancy, colour, and modular approach to scent. There, they experimented with layering the Magnifying essences and discovered how each combination could shift a fragrance’s mood and character.
A personalised Allegra Maxi-Shelley styling session also took place. Each guest experimented with the colourful silk accessories—draping and layering them to create their own distinctive look. As with all things Bvlgari, the session blended playfulness with opulence, offering a tactile, uplifting encounter with the brand’s spirited DNA. A luxurious door gift accompanied each guest home.
