If that is you, try the Symbiose Collection from French luxury haircare brand Kératase to help soothe your scalp. The collection features six new products, ranging from a cleansing gel and a masque to a night serum and an anti-dandruff shampoo. Used in tandem, the collection not only gets rid of dandruff, it also strengthens and balances the scalp’s microbiome with ingredients such as salicylic acid.

Parisian perfume brand Diptyque promises to whisk you away to the sunny Mediterranean with its Summer Collection. The Ilio Eau de Toilette and the Ilio Hair Mist evoke cheerfulness with notes of prickly pear, bergamot, iris and jasmine. The collection also celebrates lemongrass—a well-loved summer scent that is as relaxing as it is refreshing—in two limited-edition candles and a home diffuser. Topping off the collection is the ultimate summer accessory: a foldable hand fan that pays tribute to Parisian fan-makers from the 19th century. The packaging of the whole range has been designed by American visual artist Erik Winkowski and is characterised by the distinctively bright colour palette that is the artist’s signature.

Price: Ranging from HK$470-HK$2,700

The iconic Japanese brand’s perfumer Marie Salamagne draws from the scents of peony to create a summer-perfect perfume with floral and fruity notes of peony, rose and pear, with a hint of cedarwood. This emphasis on nature also finds its way into the bottle design, with its cap carved from 100 per cent wood. Meanwhile, the glass body is made with recycled glass. It’s part of a trio of perfumes released this summer: also check out the l’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Vétiver and A Drop d’Issey Eau de Parfum Essentielle.

Summer means more sweating in Hong Kong, which means more frequent showers and hair-washing. If you’re shampooing your hair every time you take a shower, you might be inadvertently depleting your scalp of healthy oils and making your hair brittle. To tackle this issue, check out French haircare brand Leonor Greyl’s Bain TS Shampooing, a product that claims to be packed with natural ingredients such as linden extract, sage extract and more, which cleanses the scalp without dehydrating it.

Price: HK$360/200ml
Available at: Hair Spa by Leonor Greyl at Harbour City, Leonor Greyl shops at Queensway Plaza, Times Square and Ocean Terminal
