Creed
With a rich heritage that stretches back generations, Creed’s handmade fragrances are proudly celebrated through a new pop-up in Greenbelt 5, open through September
In a world dictated by speed, Creed instead proves the intrinsic value of refinement. Together with Tatler Philippines, the maison celebrated three of its most enduring fragrances at its House of Creed Pop Up in Greenbelt 5, which will run until the end of September. Each one possesses a history stretching back almost three centuries: the product of its traditions. Its founder and namesake, James Creed, sent a pair of scented leather gloves to King George III, proving the mastery of their craft that made them highly sought-after by royalty. Today, seven generations later, Olivier and Erwin Creed continue the founder's legacy.
In attendance were select guests and gentlemen who reflect the very essence of the brand. Some notable names included Thai actor and friend of the House of Creed Norawit Titicharoenrak, better known as Gemini, Dr Hayden Kho, Erica Concepcion-Reyes, Kirk Bondad and Brandon Espiritu.

The Greenbelt 5 House of Creed Pop Up was a wordless invitation for guests to take things slow. The walls and contemporary counters are steeped in moss-green colours and wooden accents, reflecting their origins as a tailoring house. Discerning eyes fell on the layered bottles of Creed’s three signature fragrances—Aventus, Green Irish Tweed and Silver Mountain Water. Of these three, it is Aventus, a smoky blend of fruit, woods and moss launched in 2010, that has come to define the brand and its audience: ambitious and independent.

Our host, the charming Tim Yap, formally commenced the evening. After sharing Creed’s story, heritage and craftsmanship, he called forward Gemini. The Thai actor, known for his roles in My School President and Moonlight Chicken, received an extremely warm welcome from both fans on the outside and the guests who were present. He also shared his penchant for Creed’s fragrances, particularly Aventus and Silver Mountain Water. “Fragrances are an easy way to level up,” German-Filipino model Kirk Bondad explained. “I use it in every setting—even before going to bed—just because it helps me feel more confident.”

Fragrance specialists were present to guide visitors through their distinct notes and the stories behind them. Crafted with a technique known as millesime, which has its roots in winemaking, the scents are produced diligently by hand. The measuring, blending and filtering are all performed with utmost precision in the brand’s workshop in Fontainebleau, France. With glasses of wine and canapés in hand, guests perused Creed’s collection, sampling exquisite fragrances that caught the attention of kings and queens.
Creed—‘devotion’ or ‘belief.’ It is a fitting name for the maison who sees its past not just as a monument to admire, but as a guide in its unwavering path forward. The brand, with its meticulously handcrafted fragrances and proud legacy, is a symbol of the modern, discerning gentleman. Theirs is a scent that persists; timeless in its prestige and allure.
