The world has been obsessed with experimental make-up since the release of HBO's Euphoria in 2019. And since the release of its explosive second season, the obsession has only intensified, with bold eyeliner, bejewelled eyes and glittery make-up looks becoming a norm among Gen Zs. At Cannes, veteran actress Andie Macdowell shows that the trend is not only for the younger generation and definitely here to stay as she walked the red carpet with green gems under her eyes, matching her dress in the same stunning shade.

On the Cannes red carpet, she wore a canary yellow Alexander Mcqueen dress, reminiscent of Princess Belle's in Beauty and the Beast. The accessory that completes the look is her elegant orange flower hairpin. It's a hair trend endorsed by Elle Fanning, an actual Disney princess in the Maleficent film series. She wears a diamond-encrusted hair clip that doubles as jewellery.
