What does it take to build wealth that moves with you? That was the question at our second Tatler House Dialogue with Great Eastern Private, this time hosted at @jaegerlecoultre in Ion Orchard. Moderated by features editor @nafingtonpost, the panel featured three perspectives on building, protecting and evolving wealth through every stage of life. Warren Sun, director of Financial Services at @greateasternsg spoke about the gap between professional success and personal financial security for founders whose wealth is tied to their business; David Lim, managing director of Group Agency and Financial Advisors at Great Eastern explored how priorities shift as families grow and how insurance now goes beyond protection to preserve wealth across generations; and Donald Kng, co-founder and CEO of Vetreska, shared how a fashion business idea evolved into an international pet lifestyle brand through responsible growth strategies and serious market analysis. Guests then lingered long after the dialogue, discovering Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces and their craftsmanship through a live watchmaking demonstration, all while savouring whisky cocktails and a @johnniewalker Blue Label tasting, making for a fitting finale to an evening devoted to the craft of building things to last.

The most considered lighting is often the kind that feels almost invisible, quietly shaping the atmosphere of a room while bringing its architecture into focus. With Chandelle, @lunebrillante.sg, the proprietary brand of lighting solutions company @illuminating.asia rethinks how light can be integrated into the home through a modular system designed to adapt to different spaces and configurations. Built around compact 40mm modules, Chandelle offers a more flexible approach to architectural lighting, allowing each component to work in harmony with the surrounding interiors. Drawing on more than 14 years of experience, Lune Brillante brings engineering precision and thoughtful design together in a collection that places the architecture, rather than the fitting, at the forefront. We got a first look at @osteriadasu, the latest opening from chef Suji Park and @chef_louishan of @naeum.sg. At the new restaurant, Park brings her interpretation of “Italian with a Korean Soul” to the table, drawing on nearly two decades of cooking and studying Italian cuisine in Korea and Italy. Handmade pasta and seasonal ingredients take centre stage, with Korean flavours woven into classic Italian preparations. The vongole, for instance, pairs asari and Venus clams with minari, or Korean water parsley, bringing a familiar Korean combination into an Italian classic.
