'Street Fighter' impresses with its visual impact, references to its source material and excellent choreography. With strong portrayals from its leads—Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters and Callina Liang as Chun-Li, the film is a throughly entertaining watch from start to finish. But its fun, campy atmosphere clearly struggles to make up for its inconsistent tone and plot, resulting in a film that leaves a lot to be desired. Regardless, it is easily one of the best fighting game adaptations in recent memory and warrants a visit to cinemas. Photos: Paramount Pictures

Set against the lush landscape of Studio City, this Los Angeles home by SLS Properties takes a darker, more elemental approach to Californian living. Charred wood, lava stone and warm limestone create a sensual palette, while expansive glazing and a 24-foot indoor planter dissolve the boundaries between architecture and nature. Across its open-plan interiors and five bedrooms, the home balances drama with intimacy, creating moments of calm through light, greenery and texture. Outdoors, a pool and fire pit extend the home’s resort-like atmosphere, offering the family a private escape from the city.

Ahead of its public opening in 2027, the Coconut Palace, formerly Tahanang Pilipino, has undergone restoration, preparing to first welcome delegates of the upcoming ASEAN Summit. Brought to life by National Artist for Architecture Francisco “Bobby” Mañosa and declared an Important Cultural Property by the National Museum of the Philippines, the palace stands as a tribute to Filipino heritage. Its design embraces organic form and native provenance with recurring hexagonal motifs echoing trimmed coconut trunks and a breathtaking chandelier composed of 101 meticulously arranged coconut shells with brass trimmings. Across its 11 rooms, the upper suites act as showcases of the diverse regions of the Philippines. Above all, it stands as a celebrated home for Filipino craftsmanship, honouring the enduring allure of materials that are unmistakably our own. Read more on TatlerAsia.com or tap the link in our bio. The growing demand for Philippine indigenous fibres like piña and abacá reflects a renewed focus on bespoke design and heritage. However, translating this interest into a sustainable industry requires addressing distinct vulnerabilities in the supply chain, ranging from weather impacts on crop yields to the intensive manual labour required for thread extraction. To secure the future of these traditions, advocates, designers, and weaving communities are working to build structural independence, ensuring the sector can sustain itself beyond temporary interventions. Read our latest series of articles exploring the realities of textile production, the Filipino designers championing local materials, and the true value of artisanal processes at the links in our bio. In New Delhi, Spaces Architects KA has reimagined the family home as an immersive exploration of form, material and art. Curvilinear surfaces, a semi-transparent entrance and a circular staircase leading to a double-height living room establish an architectural language that favours curiosity over convention. Across the home, stone inlays, sculptural furniture and digital artworks create a dialogue between the physical and the contemporary. Sliding doors connect the family lounge to an outdoor terrace, while the monochromatic basement offers a more restrained atmosphere, centred on a jacuzzi beneath a tensile fabric installation. Art is woven into the architecture itself, from recessed niches and textured backdrops to expressive murals and unexpected touches of colour in the private rooms. With a restrained palette of warm whites, muted beiges and soft greys, the Art House reveals its details gradually, balancing bold experimentation with the practical rhythms of family life. We talked to photographers about the vacations or trips that have made the most impact on them, asking each to share their story through photos. Here we hear from Sonny Thakur: “My bride and I brought home more than a few memories from our month-long honeymoon in Italy. We’d long decided that our dream stays—Numeroventi in Florence and Casa Lawa in Sicily—were worth saving up for. Soon after our intimate wedding, we found ourselves expanding our pasta-shape vocabulary and driving through sleepy Italian towns. Along the way, our most unforgettable memories, unsurprisingly, involved food. Our most unforgettable memories, unsurprisingly, involved food: the unbelievably fresh produce from the markets, which we brought back to photograph in our 16th-century loft-turned-makeshift photo studio; and the sweetest seafood pasta, served to us by our sailboat captain off the coast of Sant’Alfio.”
