A handpicked selection of Citi's top-tier clients were treated to a specially curated dinner by Chef Emmanuel Stroobant, fine wines and whiskies by Michelin Guide and William Grant & Sons, and a performance by Joanna Dong
Luxury can be defined in many ways. But to the seriously discerning, luxury transcends opulence. It is instead found in the artful symphony of unparalleled experiences, exclusivity and access; in the thrill of acquiring a rarefied masterpiece; and in the comfort of impeccable, trustworthy service. Time, too, is a highly treasured possession, and luxury lies in being able to achieve utmost efficiency, and to make the most of every single moment.
Like a golden key that unlocks such experiences in life that money can—and cannot—buy, Citi’s freshly minted Ultima Mastercard prides itself in being the ultimate companion for the ultra-high-net-worth elite…and its launch was celebrated in high style at 1-Atico.
Greeted by panoramic views of the city skyline, select clients from Citigold Private Clients and Citi Private Bank descended upon—or instead, ascended to—Ion Sky, where a wall of personalised Ultima “cards” served as a unique indicator of their table numbers. Experiential arches, each showcasing the inimitable traits of Citi’s ultra-high-net-worth offering, led guests to the main cocktail reception fuelled by two bars: One hosted by Michelin Guide, serving Drappier Brut Grande Sendree 2008 champagne and M. Chapoutier Saint-Joseph Les Granits Blanc 2018 wine; and another by William Grant & Sons where a curated selection of whiskies were savoured.

Guests were treated to a showcase of timepieces by Watchbox while short films by Tatler Singapore featuring four Citi ambassadors sparked many a conversation amongst Citi clients and senior management, and partners from Mastercard.
At dinner, guests savoured an elegant menu curated by two-Michelin-starred chef Emmanuel Stroobant, which was perfectly paired with wines selected by Michelin Guide sommelier Jordan Scornet, who walked diners through the notes with each course served. The evening also featured a special performance by Singaporean chanteuse Joanna Dong, and culminating with dessert to end the evening on a sweet note. Designed by noted patisserie chef Janice Wong, the decadent dessert was paired with an exclusive 1995 Glenfiddich ex-bourbon cask, which was flown straight from the distillery specially for the event. To close off the evening, guests were invited for a whisky nightcap at the bar.
