From a composting workshop to a vegan cupcake decorating session, don’t miss these four workshops at Tatler’s Sustainability Weekend 2024
Featuring pioneering discussions, eco-friendly innovation, and hands-on workshops, Tatler Malaysia’s Sustainability Weekend is back this year for a fun-filled celebration of all things sustainability, held in partnership with The Exchange TRX and Enrich by Malaysia Airlines.
Open to the public, Sustainability Weekend 2024 will see participation from over 30 brands who have come together to help guests facilitate a sustainability-driven and eco-conscious lifestyle, from more eco-friendly beauty and dining choices to positive habits like composting and upcycling.
To that end, don’t miss these four exciting workshops by beloved local brands like Claire Organics, Babylon Vertical Farms, and more, which will be happening for two days only at Sustainability Weekend.

Edible flowers cupcake decorating workshop by Babylon Vertical Farm

A popular name emerging in the local urban farming scene, Microgreens producer Babylon Vertical Farms services local hotels and fine dining restaurants with their beautiful microgreens varieties.
Back for its second year at Sustainability Weekend, Babylon Vertical Farms will be hosting two fun vegan cupcake decorating workshops on both days of the event. Participants will get the chance to sample free microgreens and edible flowers in Babylon Vertical Farm’s selection while decorating vegan cupcakes with these green goodies and colourful vegan icing.

Upcycling workshop by KLOTH Circularity

Founded in 2013, Kloth Circularity is a social enterprise working towards the circular economy of textiles, clothing, and plastics in line with its philosophy of ‘Rethink, Repurpose, Recycle, Reduce’.
Happening on Saturday only, the Kloth Cares Coaster Making Workshop aims to foster creativity and in arts and crafts while giving a renewed life to unwanted fabrics. For this workshop, participants are encouraged to bring one to three pieces of their own t-shirts, based on the colours they want their coasters to be.
Aromatherapy roll-on perfume workshop by Claire Organics

Also in its second year at Sustainability Weekend, Claire Organics will be hosting a workshop making do-it-yourself aromatherapy perfume roll-on bottles made with essential oils of their choice, the perfect accessory to carry in one’s bag or pocket.

Composting workshop by Maeko Malaysia
When: Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28 all day from 4pm - 10pm
Price: RM12 per person
