This year’s Tatler Ball doesn’t only celebrate 22 strong years of the publication but also how it exceeded its projected fundraising goal

Ten days since Tatler Ball 2023, guests and online spectators still can’t get over the event. It was, after all, a night graced by some of the Philippines’ most influential tycoons and personalities.

Apart from being one of the most successful balls in the country—from the gorgeous red carpet looks, the exquisite Moroccan-themed menu by Shangri-la The Fort and a jaw-dropping performance by singer-songwriter Morisette, this year added another bullet to the milestones it has achieved: exceeding the fundraising goal of PHP 11,250,000 needed for Project Inclusion Network (PIN) to help its communities.

Two days after the eventful evening, Tatler Philippines raised over PHP 13 million through generous donations, pledges, and the night’s charity auction, surpassing the initial target. After 10 days, it has achieved around PHP 17,010,000, with more daily donations.

The original goal is to help more than 250 persons with disabilities receive technical and vocational education and training scholarships, equipping them with specialised skills and personalised job placement assistance.

The contribution sum would now allow PIN to support more than 250 PWDs. “You have shown that change for inclusivity is not just possible—it is happening, and we are making it happen,” says Atty Emmeline Aglipay Villar, former chairperson and ardent PIN champion.

Tatler Ball 2023 would not be possible without our headline partner Tiffany & Co., gold partner Lexus, and supporting partners Belo Medical Group, Eluria, HSBC Premier, Moët Hennessy, Shangri-la The Fort Manila and Bacchus Epicerie.
