Let's revisit some of the highlights of this year's Tatler Ball—the performances, charity auction, and awarding

Tatler Philippines' 21st-anniversary ball was a long-time coming, but the wait was well worth it! It was a fun-filled smashing success, thanks to the generosity of our dear guests and sponsors who graced the affair. This year while celebrating our anniversary, and giving thanks for all that was despite challenges, we also fundraised for our partner charity, U-Go Philippines.

The magnificent singer and theatre actor Bituin Escalante joined us and dazzled the crowd with her stage presence and stunning vocal range. Simple and minimalist yet exuding sophisticated elegance, the ballroom wowed and welcomed a smaller guest list this year.

To start the evening we began with a video to let our friends in on what Tatler has been up to over the past three years. Irene Martel Francisco, Tatler Philippines' managing director, said in her speech with much pride and joy that the magazine has not stopped producing monthly issues throughout the entire pandemic, and extended her gratitude towards the editorial and sales teams, led by editor-in-chief Anton San Diego and general manager for sales Liezl Andraneda. Mariana Zobel de Ayala and John Wood, the driving forces behind U-Go Philippines introduced the charity to our guests in preparation for the auction.

The evening's program was nothing short of entertaining thanks to our hosts Tim Yap and Tatler Homes Philippines editor Stephanie Zubiri.

Joris Rycken, executive chef at Shangri-La The Fort prepared a sumptuous 5-course menu for the Tatler Ball. During dinner, Tim Yap and Stephanie Zubiri were joined on stage by Small Laude to co-host the auction alongside them. As of writing, Tatler Philippines raised over PHP40 million from generous donations, pledges, and the evening's charity auction– a new record for the Tatler Ball.

An endearing performance by the Mandaluyong Children's Choir filled the ballroom with joyful yuletide spirits for their renditions of some of our beloved Christmas songs before we commenced with our special awards.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and editor-in-chief Anton San Diego came to the stage to announce this year's Tatler Ball awardees: Ramon S Ang, Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala, and Ronald Ventura. The awardees each received prizes and trophies and gave short but meaningful speeches of gratitude.
