Asian celebrities have risen to the top of fashion’s power rankings, according to a recently released report by Launchmetrics
The fashion world has seen a remarkable transformation in recent years, with Asian celebrities stepping into the spotlight as powerhouse figures on the global stage. This shift was most evident during Paris Fashion Week 2025, where, according to Launchmetrics’ white paper, stars like the Philippines’ Heart Evangelista, Thailand’s Nattawin Wattanagitiphat and South Korea’s Jennie Kim and Jisoo of Blackpink dominated media impact rankings.
A key takeaway from the Launchmetrics report, which uses the Media Impact Value (MIV) system to quantify influence across various platforms, is the dominance of Asia in global fashion conversations. At the Fall/Winter 2025 Menswear Paris Fashion Week, Asian celebrities generated an impressive 77 per cent of the total celebrity MIV for the event, with the top five most impactful celebrities exclusively from the region. Of note, Thailand also made the leap to third place in regional performance, propelled by the country’s robust celebrity coverage.

The trend continued at the Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture Week, with South Korea, the Philippines and Thailand emerging as the top three countries for celebrity performance. “On average, Asian celebrities generate 370 per cent more MIV than their European counterparts,” the report added, “underscoring the growing power and influence of the region in the world of Haute Couture.”
As Asian personalities continue to gain recognition on prestigious platforms like international fashion weeks, they transform how fashion stories are told and who gets to tell them. Below, meet the fashion superstars of Asia’s Most Influential who are leading the conversation in global fashion.
