Former K-pop star, fencer and August 2024 Tatler cover star Jackson Wang stepped back from his solo music career in December 2023 “to refresh, to recharge, to feel inspired to live as a human and have a regular lifestyle with true friends”. Six months later, he threw himself into fashion design through Team Wang Design, which he launched in 2020, and released a collection of bold, fun, summer-coloured pieces in collaboration with Nigerian American fashion stylist Mobolaji Dawodu.

Wang gained international prominence as a member of the South Korean boy band GOT7, which debuted in 2014 under JYP Entertainment. In 2017 he expanded his artistic pursuits by establishing Team Wang. Before his music career, he was an accomplished fencer, representing Hong Kong as part of its national team.
