The inaugural Tatler Front & Female Awards Singapore recognised the changemakers taking action to create a better future for women and girls
September 4 marked the inaugural edition of the Tatler Front & Female Awards Singapore.
Held at The St. Regis Singapore in partnership with the Luxury Group at Marriott International, the event recognised seven exceptional women from a list of 22 nominees who are inspiring progress and effecting change for women and girls. The seven winners each received custom trophies crafted by Spanish porcelain house Lladró.
The rigorous process began in May when nominations were collected from the public, Tatler editors and members of a select Voting Committee comprised of influential individuals from a range of fields. This approach ensured a diverse pool of candidates representing Singapore’s dynamic professional landscape across industries from technology and finance to healthcare and social impact.
After thorough and careful vetting, the 140-strong nomination list was narrowed down to 22 nominees before the final winners were selected.

The event, which was also supported by Visit Monaco and Código 1530, began with an empowering forum designed to examine the evolving landscape of leadership.
To welcome the guests, Christina Chan, chief financial officer, Asia Pacific exclusive China at Marriott International, graced the stage with an opening address, sharing a personal anecdote about overcoming early career challenges and the importance of creating platforms for women to be recognised.
Following Chan’s warm introduction, Brenda Bence, globally ranked top three C-suite coach and advisor and Speaker Hall of Fame inductee, delivered the keynote address, challenging attendees to examine and reshape their assumptions.
“Leadership has no gender”, said Bence. Her keynote focused on dismantling limiting beliefs that often constrain professional growth, and she offered the audience practical tips to push past boundaries and redefine what is possible.

After Bence’s keynote, a panel discussion followed, moderated by Rachel Duffell, regional content director of Power & Purpose and Front & Female lead. Titled Reaching the Extremes: Surpassing Limits to Realise Your Potential, three women who have redefined boundaries in their respective fields took to the stage to share their perspectives.
Endurance athlete, Guinness World Record holder and motivational speaker Natalie Dau articulated how competitive excellence translates into finding your purpose. Social entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor and adventurer Christine Amour-Levar talked about how diverse experiences can inform impactful work. And Lakshmi Mohanbabu offered a unique viewpoint as an artist and architect whose creative vision extends beyond terrestrial limits—she created the first artworks to travel to space and reside in the deep ocean, pushing the boundaries of where art can exist and resonate.
The discussions and stories from the panellists demonstrated that extraordinary success comes in various forms, but each is underpinned by the same essential qualities: purpose, persistence and collaboration.

From conversation to celebration
After the thought-provoking forum and panel, guests transitioned to a networking reception where conversations continued over cocktails by Código 1530. Adding an unexpected element of discovery to the evening, Fiore Dorato provided engaging floral personality readings, matching botanical symbolism to individual character traits.
Guests were then invited back into the ballroom for the evening’s centrepiece: the awards ceremony. Tamara Lamunière, Tatler Asia president and founder of Front & Female, addressed the gathering with a reflection on the evolution of the platform and its awards. What began as intimate roundtable discussions in small venues has grown into large-scale celebrations of female achievement, with successful editions now established in Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Lamunière’s address underscored how the Front & Female platform has evolved, becoming a vital network that connects accomplished women across Asia’s diverse markets.
The evening culminated in the presentation of awards to seven exceptional women who are taking action to create a better future for women and girls. From femtech innovations to inclusive finance initiatives, healthcare breakthroughs and social impact ventures, the winners represented the breadth of talent and ambition that defines Singapore’s professional landscape.
