Southeast Asian super-app Grab's latest brand GrabFin will enable users to access all of its financial services on one integrated platform

Grab’s fintech platform Grab Financial Group (GFG) has announced that it is launching GrabFin, a new brand that combines its payments and financial services. GrabFin will offer digital payments, insurance, lending and wealth management services.

GrabFin will offer users everyday financial services that are simple to activate with just a few clicks in-app and will provide consumers with the flexibility to choose how they want to use the products with no lock-in period.

“Grab’s super-app platform, deep tech expertise and data-driven insights position us uniquely to drive financial inclusion across Southeast Asia. The GrabFin brand reinforces our promise to empower the six in 10 financially underserved in the region,” said Kell Jay Lim, head of GrabFin, in a press release.

The introduction of GrabFin follows GFG’s launch of other products for its users, drivers and delivery partners, such as Travel Cover, a daily travel insurance that also covers Covid-19; Grab Daily Insurance, a daily insurance for e-hailing drivers; and Grab Cash Financing-i, a Shariah-compliant financing product for driver and delivery partners in Malaysia.

Following its launch in Singapore and Malaysia, GrabFin will be gradually rolled out in other Southeast Asian markets over the next few months.
