The marketplace will enable community members of the Singapore-based platform to buy and sell everything from homemade food to pre-loved items

Members of Singapore-based platform Abillion will now be able to buy and sell vegan products through its new online marketplace

Similar to Abillion’s flagship product, which allows members to review vegan dishes and sustainable products in return for US$1, people who purchase on the marketplace will earn impact credits that can be donated to a charity of their choice. Sellers can determine how much of the purchase price goes to charity.

The marketplace, which is accessible on Abillion’s app, is currently only available to members in Singapore. The company plans to roll it out to other markets over the next few months.

Abillion was founded in 2017 by Gen.T honouree Vikas Garg with the goal of guiding a billion people to a plant-based lifestyle in the next decade. “My calling is to help hundreds of thousands of future entrepreneurs create sustainable products and brands,” says Garg.

Since it started, the company has donated ​​more than US$1.7 million to non-profit causes in animal protection, food security and nature conservation across the globe.
