Here’s what you missed:
On the evening of March 28, 50 women arrived at the OnTheList showroom for an evening of cocktails, shopping and inspiring conversation. The women were made up of members of the Women of Hong Kong, as well as supporters of OnTheList, Asia’s first members-only flash sales concept.
Moderated by Giovanni Musillo, OnTheList’s managing director, the panel spoke about the early stages of their careers, how they became who they were today, changes they are making to their organisation, and challenges faced along the way. Each speaker shared candid stories, and gave meaningful advice to those looking for inspiration.
After the panel discussion, Nicole Mott and Debbie Wong from the holistic personal styling brand, Dressing The Woman, were on hand to provide bespoke styling advice to guests, as they walked around the showroom. Pieces from designer Phillip Lim, and travel items from Samsonite were the standouts from the evening.
Proceeds of the event were donated to Make It Work, a charity helping the working poor population in Hong Kong, and Refugee Union, which provides social support to refugees and asylum seekers in the city.
The evening was a reminder that when women collaborate, deep-rooted connections can be made. With champagne in hand and laughter all around, the women in the room toasted to new friends and even better memories.
