Mr Sim is the Founder and Executive Chairman of V3 Group Limited (the “Group”), a Singapore-based holding company with a globally diversified portfolio organised into three business units – V3 Brands, V3 Capital and V3 Assets. The portfolio includes leading brands in the well-being and luxury gourmet segments, as well as holdings in capital markets, real estate, and integrated healthcare. As Executive Chairman, Mr Sim is responsible for high level oversight of the Board, management, and the formulation of the Group’s strategic direction.

An intrepid business builder, Mr Sim started with a trading company selling general household items in 1979 that expanded and eventually evolved into the V3 Group. Today, V3 Brands nurtures leading brands such as OSIM, TWG Tea, Bacha Coffee, Le Cabestan, OSC, Cat & the Fiddle, LAC, and Futuristic Fixtures; V3 Capital pursues capital growth opportunities; and V3 Assets holds assets in integrated real estate and healthcare. Collectively, the Group’s brands and businesses engage over 3 million customers worldwide with a combined footprint of over 5,000 retail touchpoints in 118 cities, across 26 countries in Asia, the Oceania, Middle East, Europe and North America.

Since October 2014, Mr Sim has been the vice chairman and non-independent non-executive director of Perennial Real Estate Holdings Limited (SGX-listed from 2003 to 2020). He was a non-executive director of SGX-listed Jumbo Group Limited (SGX:42R) from May 2017 to January 2020.
