Real estate magnate Robert Ng is the chairman of family-owned companies including Sino Land, Tsim Sha Tsui Properties and Sino Hotels Holdings. The Singapore-born eldest son of real estate tycoon Ng Teng-fong—known as the King of Orchard Road—Robert Ng is a former barrister who was called to the bar in 1975. He became an executive director of Sino in 1981 and took charge of the company in 1991. His brother, Phillip, oversees the company’s Singapore operations under the Far East Organization umbrella.

A director of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, Robert is also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and has served as the deputy director of its Committee for Economic Affairs.

He has six children: David; Alexander; Jeanne; Christine; Daryl, his eldest son, who is deputy chairman of Sino Group; and Nikki, his eldest daughter, who is a general manager of the company.
