The grandson of founder Ng Teng-fong, Daryl Ng is deputy chairman of property conglomerate Sino Group, which comprises three listed companies (Sino Land, Tsim Sha Tsui Properties and Sino Hotels Holdings) as well as privately held companies. He is also chairman of Singapore-listed beverage and investment giant Yeo’s.


An advocate for sustainability who has been behind various environmentally friendly projects at Sino’s developments, Daryl Ng is also committed to heritage conservation, establishing the Hong Kong Heritage Conservation Foundation in 2008 and overseeing the revitalisation of historic buildings including Tai O Heritage Hotel in Hong Kong and The Fullerton Heritage in Singapore.


Daryl Ng founded the Hong Kong Innovation Foundation in 2018, supporting scientific and technological innovation with everything from educational programmes for children to a sandbox platform to help technology companies.


He is president of Hong Kong United Youth Association, a UNICEF Hong Kong committee member, a member of the Council of the University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Court of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The eldest son of company chairman Robert Ng, Daryl has five siblings. A member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, he is a holder of a Silver Bauhinia Star and the honour of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite of France.
