謝盈萱 Hsieh Ying-xuan

A graduate of the Theatre Department at Taipei National University of the Arts, actress Hsieh Ying-xuan has been in the business for over 20 years. For the first 17 years, her focus was primarily on stage plays, where she performed in over 30 productions and was known as the “Theatre Goddess”. Her most popular shows include Edward Lam Dance Theatre’s Madame Bovary and Shakespeare’s Wild Sisters Group’s 羞昂APP.

After more than a decade of dedication to the theatre, Shih became widely recognised for her role as the vibrant and passionate Stacey in the TV drama A Boy Name Flora A. In 2018, she won the Best Actress award at both the Golden Horse Awards and the Taipei Film Festival for her performance in Dear Ex. In 2022, she received dual nominations for Best Actress at the Golden Bell Awards for her roles in Heaven on the 4th Floor and The Making of an Ordinary Woman 2, ultimately winning the Best Actress award for her work in the former. Most recently, her breakthrough performance in Wave Makers, a politically themed drama and Taiwan’s first drama centred around political staff, further showcased her talent.

Hsieh’s natural and spontaneous traits, combined with her captivating acting skills, have made her a beloved actress among the audience. Her ability to transform herself allows her to interpret various fashionable styles with unique flair. Hsieh Ying-xuan is a crowned actress who excels in both film and television. Did You Know?


Hsieh Ying-xuan began her training in dancing classes and continued pursuing it through her years in junior high and high school. In 2022, she had the opportunity to showcase her dance background by participating in the semi-autobiographical film Salute.
