Born in Nanjing and raised in Canada, influencer Elva Ni began her career as a model before moving to Hong Kong in 2006 and taking up acting. She starred in movies including All’s Well, Ends Well 2011 (2011), The Bounty (2012) and The Best Plan Is No Plan (2013), as well as ads for the likes of Galaxy Macau, Ocean Park and Bank of China. A trained cosmetologist, in recent years she has come to prominence as a beauty and fashion influencer who promotes a philosophy of natural beauty, and has partnerships with brands including Schwarzkopf, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Shiseido. Her commitment to natural health and beauty has led her to train extensively as a yoga instructor, and she is also the founder of Be Earth, a Hong Kong sustainable yoga studio boasting spectacular interiors.
