Chryseis Tan is a serial investor, entrepreneur and a popular influencer with interests in the hospitality, food and beverage, technology, and beauty industries. The daughter of famed tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan, who founded the Malaysian conglomerate Berjaya Corp Berhad, she has been involved in the group’s hospitality projects with the opening of Four Seasons in Kyoto, Japan in 2016 as well as the group’s second Four Seasons in Okinawa, which she is currently engaged in setting up.

Outside of Berjaya, Tan founded and helms the Curate Group, which is behind a number of dynamic Japanese dining concepts including Sushi Ryu, Park Grill and Bar Shake. She also recently launched her own skincare brand, LUMI Beauty. A project she threw herself into while grounded during the pandemic and pregnant with her first child, the line includes products she self-tested like Vitamin Glow Super Serum and Rose Brightening Moisture Mask.

Tan is also known for her diverse investment portfolio, which includes the juice café chain La Juiceria, and online fashion and beauty marketplace Goxip. Famed for her fashionable, jet-set lifestyle, Tan is followed by nearly half a million followers on Instagram, where her photos now also feature her daughter Arianna with husband, Naza Group scion SM Faliq Nasimuddin.

Tan credits her ability to look radiant, despite her hectic schedule, to effective stress management. She says she handles stress in the same way she deals with jet-lag—she just gets used to it.
