The deputy chairman and CEO of Lawsgroup, Bosco Law is in charge of a company that employs more than 20,000 people in areas including manufacturing, property, and retail. Its core, however, is apparel making, the company’s original business when it was founded in 1975, during the heyday of Hong Kong textile manufacturing, by his grandfather Law Ting Pong; it makes clothes for a number of the world’s biggest brands, including Gap, JC Penney, and Uniqlo.

He has spearheaded the expansion of the company’s operations outside China, with new factories in Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Myanmar, bringing its total manufacturing capacity to more than 200 million pieces a year. He is also chairman of Laws Properties Group and a non-executive director of Bossini, as well as the chairman of the Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association and a member of the Hong Kong government’s Fashion Industry Training Advisory Committee.
