Aimee Sun launched her jewellery line, Yun Yun Sun, in 2016, inspired by her travels where she started collecting various stones, jewels, and accessories from all over the world. It is a mix of attention-grabbing statement pieces and classic fine jewellery, which she has said is a reflection of her personality.
Some of the diamond necklaces are indeed bold and cheeky, saying “where’s the black card” and “WTF” in Chinese characters. A fashion influencer and leading society fixture in Taiwan, Sun has also appeared in several TV commercials and has endorsed products from skin care to home appliances.
She is the daughter of the late Jack Sun, former chairman of Pacific Electric Wire and Cable, and her mother is Nien-Tsu Ho, the vice chairwoman of Yuanta Securities. Sun is also the fashion director of Breeze Center, a female-oriented shopping mall run by her husband Henry Liao.
