Xiglo by Belo Medical Group launches in Rockwell as its first precision longevity clinic

Dr Vicki Belo has spent thirty-six years building a name that, in the Philippines, has become close to shorthand for beauty itself. She pioneered aesthetic medicine here at a time when the field barely had a local vocabulary, and the new venture, by her own account, has been years in development rather than a reactive move.

“We’ve wanted to move into longevity for a few years now, and the reason we did it only now is because we’ve been researching, we’ve been studying and we really don’t do anything halfway,” she said.

The recurring point of emphasis was evidence: not trends or treatments adopted wholesale from abroad, but a framework developed alongside specialists in the field of ageing.

Chief among them is Dr Dominik Thor, the Geneva-based longevity and regenerative medicine authority who serves as Belo’s longevity consultant. Thor founded the Geneva College of Longevity Science, co-directed the first doctoral programme in the field at Ovidius University in Romania, and holds patents in cell regeneration and skin rejuvenation in Europe and the United States. He is also the professor under whom Dr Hayden Kho has recently enrolled in a longevity course, a detail that lent the evening an added degree of scientific credibility. Kho, notably, engaged with the clinical framework in some depth rather than treating it as a backdrop, a doctor whose own public profile rests on aesthetics deferring openly to his professor’s expertise on longevity.

That emphasis on evidence over instinct underpins Xiglo’s stated approach. “It is always going to be ultra-personalised. You have to understand what the patient is made of: their genetic makeup, their epigenetic makeup, their history, their environment. Only then can you build the journey,” Thor said.

“This is a long-term process, not a one-off treatment. It has to be built on scientific evidence, rooted in ethics and oversight. You are influencing the trajectory of a patient’s life."

The clinic itself, housed within 1 Proscenium, is designed around the same principle of restraint. There are no shared waiting areas and no walk-ins; access is strictly by appointment, with a dedicated concierge guiding each patient from first consultation onward. Aesthetic treatment rooms sit alongside a separate wellness wing, a physical division that reinforces the group’s position that the two disciplines are related but distinct.

CEO Gina Lorenzana attributed the shift to changing patient demand. “People still care about aesthetics, and we’re very good at that. But now they’re also concerned about what’s happening on the inside. The number one thing we heard was sleep. People are tired, yet they can’t sleep. Then perimenopause and menopause hit women, and they don’t have a place to talk about it. Men go through the same thing, and they won’t even talk to their friends about it. These aren’t people who are sick. They’re well, and they want to live longer. Xiglo is our response to that.”

The name itself encapsulates the clinic’s premise. Xiglo draws on two words: sigla, the Tagalog term for joy and happiness that also carries a sense of vitality, and siglo, another word for daantaon, which translates literally to a hundred years. Together, they point to a philosophy that treats vitality and longevity as a single pursuit rather than separate goals, on the premise that years added to a life are only as valuable as the vitality that fills them.

In practice, this translates to a treatment roster spanning Belo’s established signatures, among them the non-invasive Genesis Lift, the intimate-focused ExoBloom and the Body Reset programme, alongside newer interventions targeting the concerns Lorenzana described: custom IV infusions, at-home sleep studies overseen by sleep medicine specialist Dr Jimmy Chang, exosome-based treatments and Exomind brain technology for focus and mental fog.

A wider panel, including OB-GYN Dr Patricia Kiziler, orthopaedic specialist Dr JJ Pua, urologist Dr PJ Fernandez and precision longevity specialist Dr Rainier Monzo, is engaged according to what a patient’s diagnostics indicate, rather than offered as a fixed menu.

The underlying premise, reiterated throughout the evening, is that no two longevity journeys through Xiglo are meant to look alike. That is, in effect, the clinic’s central argument: that understanding a body well enough to identify what it specifically needs, rather than what wellness culture broadly prescribes, is what distinguishes ageing from ageing well.
