Unlocking the secrets of high-performance living, ĀMANÏ Wellness merges cutting-edge biohacking with holistic well-being to help leaders like Euan Smith thrive

Leaders are often expected to perform at their highest potential, navigating challenges and making critical decisions daily. However, sustaining this level of performance requires more than just skill and determination—it demands a strong commitment to personal wellness. Physical health, mental resilience, and mindfulness are essential in maintaining clarity, focus, and motivation.

Biohacking—the art of optimising mind and body through targeted interventions—is no longer confined to Silicon Valley. At ĀMANÏ, this ethos is tailored for leaders seeking to elevate their potential. “Many already practice biohacks without realising it,” shares founder Yap Yann Fang, recounting a CEO who takes challenging calls during morning walks, harnessing sunlight to diffuse stress. “Everyone has their own little hacks to perform better, sleep better, live better. However for us here at ĀMANÏ, these hacks are taken two steps further with science-based research and technologies that deliver results and sustained wellness.”

For Euan Smith, group CEO of Astro Malaysia and a member of ĀMANÏ, the awakening came at 40, following a personal turning point in his life. “I realised I was unhealthy and spent too much time in the pub. The real thing that got me into biohacking was reading The 4-Hour Body by Tim Ferriss, which talked about the concept of maximising output with minimal effort.”

His exposure to different global fitness cultures—from Munich to Los Angeles and Sydney—further deepened his engagement with biohacking, leading him to embrace practices such as reformer Pilates, bulletproof coffee, and hot yoga.

Smith describes ĀMANÏ as a unique space that blends cutting-edge technology with a supportive community. “They’ve got equipment that you can’t find elsewhere in this country, and it is such a nice space. It is like a sanctuary, and I think that’s what draws me back. You can get your exercise and recovery done fast with a lovely group of people; it takes the pressure off the day.”

ĀMANÏ’s personalised approach to wellness is another key draw. “When I got off a plane from a recent trip, the team at ĀMANÏ was already tracking my sleep schedule and asking if their recommended routines were making a difference. That level of care makes a huge impact.”

Smith tailors his biohacking journey at ĀMANÏ to optimise his physical and mental performance. “I do it all—PEMF Therapy (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy), which re-energises my cells, ice baths for mood elevation and muscle recovery, and the Vasper machine, where you can simulate running a half-marathon in under 21 minutes. I also love Red Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna Sessions, and BioCharger sessions.” He also adds that the tracking by doctors and the IV Drip Therapy add another layer of precision to his routine.

Yap envisioned ĀMANÏ as a sanctuary where leaders can focus on their well-being while remaining productive. “Leaders are always giving—to their companies, employees, and families—but rarely take time for themselves,” she explains. “They carry immense stress without a place to recharge.” ĀMANÏ was created to fill this gap, offering support in all aspects of life, from sleep and nutrition to brain health, relationships, and purpose. “Here, leaders don’t just get things done—they feel valued, nurtured, and empowered to thrive,” Yap adds, emphasising the overwhelmingly positive response to this transformative experience.

As a CEO, managing a demanding schedule while prioritising health can be challenging. However, Smith believes that wellness should never be sidelined. “People that say that they’ve not got enough time to look after themselves, that’s an excuse. It’s all about prioritisation. I schedule my workouts between 5:30 and 7:00pm. That’s my time. Sure, some days get disrupted, but I make it happen almost daily.”

Smith draws inspiration from longevity expert Peter Attia’s book Outlive, which encourages individuals to consider their physical capabilities at 100 years old and work backwards to maintain those abilities. “I’m paraphrasing, but the book talks about VO₂ max, which is a measure of how efficiently your body uses oxygen and gets it to your bloodstream under high stress or high intensity exercises; it’s the single best measure of determining how long you’re going to live. As a CEO, I thrive on competition, and testing my VO₂ max annually gives me a tangible challenge to work toward. My chronological age has increased for the last three years, but my biological age has decreased.”

Looking ahead, Yap envisions ĀMANÏ expanding beyond Kuala Lumpur. “Building this takes time, effort, and resources, but if we get it right, I see a future where every city has a community like ĀMANÏ—a space designed for leaders to prioritise themselves, find balance, and thrive,” she says. Many leaders, she notes, are unaware of what they truly need, often suffering in silence while giving their all to others. “This is where the world’s top leaders come to elevate not just their businesses but their entire lives,” says Yap.
