Palawan continues to be a top destination for avid travellers
In an effort to bolster Palawan as a premier travel destination in 2025, the Palawan Tourism Council (PTC) is hosting a travel and trade expo dedicated to the province. Happening at the Glorietta Mall Activity Centre from February 5 to 7, the event highlights the island’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and sustainability. The three-day event showcases locally made food products and craftsmanship while also allowing attendees to grab exclusive discounts on flights, accommodations, tours, and adventure packages.

Palawan has been seeing massive success with tourism and revenue—skyrocketing to PhP 57.2 billion in 2023 compared to 2022’s PhP 30.5 billion. The province also saw an 87.47 per cent increase in tourist arrivals, reaching 1,527,159 visitors in 2023. Hoping to increase domestic tourism for Palawan, the PTC’s president, Rey Felix Rafols urges Filipinos to explore the island’s wonders. “Instead of going abroad, we encourage Filipinos to discover the unparalleled beauty of Palawan. By doing so, they directly support local businesses, communities, and sustainable initiatives.”
