Wyndham Hotels & Resorts hosted an exclusive gathering on October 26, in celebration of its latest achievements. The evening saw some of Singapore’s most prominent names gather for a meal at Peninsula Excelsior Singapore’s Sky Lounge, a lavish property which will be officially launched as Wyndham Singapore in 2024.
Located along Coleman Street, the hotel overlooks Singapore’s renowned skyline, boasting views of Marina Bay, Singapore River and Fort Canning Hill.

President for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific Joon Aun Ooi started the night with a speech, sharing how the brand is constantly growing. “This year, we opened many new hotels and introduced new brands such as the largest Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Garden globally in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, the first Wyndham Grand in Busan, South Korea, and many other notable additions across Asia Pacific” he shares.
Ooi also highlighted the success of the Wyndham Rewards programme, the brand’s loyalty scheme. “We continue growing because of the greatness of the [Wyndham Rewards] programme, dubbed the world’s simplest and most generous loyalty programme… and it’s our promise to our guests to continue to renovate, innovate and enhance this programme,” he continued.
As the night went on, guests tucked into a five-course meal featuring dishes such as grilled Hokkaido scallops, lemon-dusted halibut and Maine lobster Thermidor. Mouthwatering plates were paired with glasses of vino from around the world. Guests were also treated to stunning views of the city skyline, thanks to the lounge’s floor-to-ceiling windows.
The dinner also saw lively discussions between members of Wyndham’s Asia Pacific senior leadership team and guests as they shared stories on their most memorable travel experiences and favourite rewards initiatives. Guests also had the opportunity to enter a lucky draw, where trips to various Wyndham properties were up for grabs.
With spirited conversation, tantalising dishes and stunning views, it was a truly memorable night of celebration.
