Suwarga Garden at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali offers a versatile outdoor venue, bringing a refined setting to destination weddings and grand gatherings.
In the quiet transition from late afternoon light to dusk, Jimbaran’s tropical breeze shifts through the tropical landscape. At Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, this elemental rhythm now finds a dedicated home in Suwarga Garden. Officially unveiled on September 25, 2026, the venue offers a flexible, outdoor setting for weddings and large-scale gatherings.
Taking its name from the Sanskrit word for "heaven", Suwarga Garden is structured as a collection of spaces rather than a single lawn. Five distinct zones—The Banyan Court, The Pavilion, The Cascading Lawn, The Lawn Court, and The Waterfall Court—allow events to move naturally through different phases. Designed to accommodate intimate ceremonies of 50 guests or grand receptions for up to 1,250 people, the layout supports diverse cultural traditions and bespoke event designs.

The visual focus of the sanctuary is The Waterfall Court, where a seven-metre waterfall cascades against illuminated stone backdrops as night falls. Surrounding it, the remaining areas offer varied spatial scales: the leafy enclosure of The Banyan Court provides shade for ceremonies, while the broad turf of The Lawn Court and The Cascading Lawn accommodates formal dining setups and stage arrangements.
To mark its debut, the resort hosted "Garden of Four Wonders", an evening demonstrating the venue’s versatility across four distinct wedding archetypes: International, Indian, Chinese, and Indonesian. The Lawn Court featured a decorated mandap alongside Indian culinary specialities, while the Cascading Lawn hosted a traditional Chinese tea ceremony setup. Guests gathered as the twilight hours yielded to a couple's inaugural dance, accompanied by an orchestral performance by Soulfegio and welcomed by general manager Jan Kroeckel.

The evening's dining experience bridged local flavours with regional cuisine, including Balinese specialities and Indian dishes prepared by Ganesha ek Sanskriti. Highlights included a choreographed Indian dance performance by Nitrous Dance, joined by 30 Mövenpick Bali team members in traditional attire, followed by a 12-minute drone light display and fireworks above Jimbaran Bay.
Located 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and connected directly to Samasta Lifestyle Village, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali offers full event support, including indoor backup options at the 420-square-metre Akasa Ballroom or Anarasa Restaurant. With Suwarga Garden now complete, the resort strengthens its footprint as a complete destination for events and gatherings in South Bali.
