In this relentless pursuit of discovery, a novel era of wanderlust has emerged—one where discerning travellers answer the siren call of open waters.
While yachting is not necessarily new, it has evolved beyond a mere recreational pastime for the elite to become an emblem of refined living—epitomising luxury, adventure, and the freedom to discover the world's most enchanting destinations.
As tides of maritime leisure continue to turn, one name stands out in redefining the luxury yachting experience: Sanlorenzo Asia. Represented by Simpson Marine, the Italian shipbuilder is one of the world’s most prestigious, boasting over 60 years of expertise in made-to-measure motor yachts and superyachts.

There is an inherent level of distinction when it comes to being the best, and Sanlorenzo is no stranger to that. What sets Sanlorenzo apart from the ordinary is its unwavering commitment to delivering luxury at sea through an unrivalled attention to detail, innovative made-in-Italy design and unique blend of function and opulence to create a truly one-of-a-kind yacht.
The results speak for themselves. 2023 proved to be a successful year for Sanlorenzo Asia, with a record number of orders from the yacht and superyacht divisions. The resonance of Sanlorenzo's success reverberates across Asia, with a record-breaking number of its vessels sailing as far as Komodo and Raja Ampat in Indonesia.

Maritime marvels
Among its notable achievements is Sanlorenzo’s delivery of a new model: the SD118. Measuring 35.7 metres with a GT of 291, the tri-deck, semi-displacement yacht
has quickly become a favourite among aficionados. Several units are currently in build for the Asia Pacific region and all delivery slots are sold out until 2026—a testament to the resounding demand within the Asia-Pacific region for Sanlorenzo's exceptional craftsmanship and design expertise.
The Asymmetric range has also established itself as a frontrunner with numerous yachts currently in production. The inaugural delivery of the SL106A into Southeast Asia marks a significant milestone, accompanied by the notable presence of various SL90A and SL96A yachts navigating regional waters. Meanwhile, the SX range stands as a leader in the sector of compact crossover explorer vessels, outshining competitors with its distinctive semi-open layout, and remarkable design and innovation. The new SX100 has sold well, while a substantial fleet of the SX76, SX88, and SX112 has swiftly become a familiar sight, cruising through the waters of Asia.
The summer of 2024 is poised to be an exciting time for Sanlorenzo Asia. The company currently has over 20 yachts under construction for delivery and is set to debut multiple models, including the award-winning Superyacht ALLOY, the new fast SP110, the SX100, and the SD90 making its first Asia appearance. In a strategic move to bolster its presence, Sanlorenzo Asia also has plans to open new offices across the region with central head offices for North Asia in Hong Kong and South East Asia in Singapore already established.
