Walk around famous sites such as Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, Museo de Intramuros, and more with this recently-launched Intramuros day tour pass

There is always a quaint spot in Intramuros where bone-weary travellers of Manila can find refuge. Besides its tall walls and peaceful parks, the place features tourist hotspots like Fort Santiago and museums like Museo de Intramuros, which are testaments to the radical westernisation of the Philippines.

On June 24, 1571, Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, a conquistador [Spanish explorer-soldier], founded the city of Manila. It became the capital and seat of Spanish sovereignty for over 300 years, home to the most influential Spanish elite and mestizos.

Locals and tourists may explore the Walled City as it teems with cultural spots amid residences, schools, churches, and government offices.

The Klook Intramuros Pass features the top attractions of the iconic Walled City. This variety of itineraries allows tourists to customise their own tourist experience of Philippine history. Some attractions are Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, Casa Manila Museum, Museo de Intramuros, Heirloom Filipiniana and Barong Rental, BamBike Tour, and the White Knight Electric Chariot Tour.

“Efforts like this are essential in strengthening our tourism industry. We are happy that the private sector is empowering the Filipinos to rediscover the beauty of our country and highlighting the various aspects of what the Philippines can offer,” shared Atty Mae Elaine T Bathan, undersecretary for legal and special concerns, and chief of staff of the tourism department.
