With its long-term “Journey 2030” strategy, the airline has set an ambitious course: doubling its fleet to over 160 aircraft and expanding to more than 125 destinations by the end of the decade. By the close of 2024, ten new routes will join its schedule, with seven of them in Asia including Algiers, Atlanta, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Medan, Phnom Penh, Taipei and Tunis. The Hanoi route is due to begin in November, giving Vietnamese travellers the chance to enjoy world-class service while connecting more seamlessly to Etihad’s global network.
