The Selangor Turf Club began its racing activities in the 1800s, and has evolved in a highly sought-after centre for equine activity. The riding school at Selangor Turf Club Equestrian & Sports Centre has been patronised by students from all across Malaysia as well as from Singapore and Hong Kong.
The Selangor Turf Club is also the only centre that has an EA (Equestrian Australia) and Malaysian Equine Council (MEM) L2 Dressage Specialist Coach, namely Equestrian Assistant Manager Ong Wan Ming. The expansive facilities here include is a competition-size arena, a permanent dressage arena, lunge arenas, grass and turn out paddocks, and a dedicated equine swimming pool for horses in need of rehabilitation from injuries.
