Uncover how luxury and creativity converge at Ascott’s recent array of exclusive events

It may be sweeping the fashion scene today, but the idea of quiet or understated luxury isn’t new. Unlike opulence that shouts for attention, this concept whispers its allure, appealing to those who seek quality above everything. It’s a brand of refinement that feels modern and enduring at once.

This is likewise what The Ascott Limited has achieved through their upscale serviced residence brand Ascott, which masterfully blends elegance and comfort to redefine the art of fine living. Consistently delivering a harmonious fusion of contemporary design and cultural sensibilities, Ascott’s approach to hospitality hinges on creating spaces that feel like home yet exude a sense of exclusivity. It’s about the subtle details and impeccable service, giving guests a lasting impression on every visit.

Bringing all these elements together is the Ascott Soiree, a curated collection of in-residence programmes and local collaborations that treat guests to the finer things in life. This is an ongoing venture of The Ascott Limited in its effort to refresh the Ascott brand's identity with a strong focus on understated luxury.

Featuring displays of visual art, fashion, and culinary delights, these immersive experiences are designed to showcase Ascott’s definitive touch as an arbiter of luxury living. Over the recent weeks and months, the metro’s been a witness to a number of these exciting events.

On August 3, Ascott Makati’s marvellous Penthouse Suite set the stage for an unforgettable soiree: a celebration of the Philippine couture in partnership with multi-awarded fashion designer Happy Andrada. It starred her 10-piece modern Filipiniana collection, which artfully combined heritage and sustainability with stylish urbanity—much like Ascott does across its well-appointed properties.

The serviced residence at the heart of Makati also collaborated with Talyer 15, producing an exclusive art exhibit within its lobby from September 13 to 19, 2023. Featuring limited-edition works by 12 established Filipino artists, the week-long affair allowed collectors to acquire all art pieces as a bundled set.

The successful showcase established the property as an incubator for established and emerging talents, connecting guests to the local arts scene and sparking inspiration across all locations.

The same can surely be said for Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila, another jewel in the hospitality group’s crown. Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila kicked off its renditions of the soiree when it hosted the MoCAF (Modern and Contemporary Art Festival) Collector’s Night on July 22, which brought together connoisseurs, gallery owners, and artists a week before the actual fête.

The following week, delighted hotel guests and residents were also offered complimentary tickets for The Da Vinci Immersive Experience from July 30 to August 5, 2023, a not-to-be-missed exhibition flocked by art lovers and AI enthusiasts alike.

Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila likewise welcomed the talents of our country’s leading orchestra for the Philippine Philharmonic’s press conference on September 5. It was notably the first time that Grzegorz Nowak, the musical ensemble’s new music director and principal conductor from Poland, performed in front of the media, making it an event to remember for all those in attendance.
