Aman launches Aman Rosa Alpina, a refined luxury retreat in the Unesco-protected Italian Dolomites
Aman has officially opened Aman Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano, marking its debut in the Unesco-listed Italian Dolomites. This milestone follows the thoughtful transformation of the Rosa Alpina hotel, a cherished, family-run retreat overseen by the Pizzinini family since 1939. Distinctly Aman
Aman Rosa Alpina offers 51 guestrooms and suites, each crafted with an emphasis on space and light—think floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies and cosy fireplaces—inviting guests to fully take in the surrounding natural beauty. Aman’s signature aesthetic of understated elegance runs throughout, honouring the alpine setting while offering modern comforts of the highest calibre.
A wellness destination rooted in nature
Wellness is at the heart of the experience. The two-level Aman Spa features a curated mix of pools, hydrotherapy amenities and treatments inspired by the healing character of the mountains. Dining options span from an Italian grill and all-day lounge to a cigar room and, during winter, a Japanese hot pot restaurant, providing variety without excess.
Direct access to ski slopes and summer trails
Opening ahead of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, Aman Rosa Alpina enjoys direct access to world-class ski terrain and year-round outdoor pursuits such as hiking and biking. The collaboration between Aman and the Pizzinini family reflects a shared commitment to quiet sophistication and thoughtful integration with the local environment and culture.
Set in a village celebrated for its pristine landscapes and cultural significance, Aman Rosa Alpina brings a new dimension to the region’s evolving luxury landscape. With nightly rates starting at US$1,800, it joins the upper tier of alpine hospitality, further establishing the Italian Dolomites as a destination for refined mountain living.
