With Fabian “Spartacus” Cancellara as its patron, the Tudor Pro Cycling Team is poised to surge ahead, with pro qualifications in the near future

Tudor is entering the world of professional cycling, and not in a way you’d expect. Instead of appointing ambassadors or partnering with events, the brand will be working with Fabian “Spartacus” Cancellara to develop a new team: the Tudor Pro Cycling Team.

A pro cycling legend in his own right, two-time Olympic gold medallist Cancellara is widely regarded as one of the top classics riders of his generation. He has continued his involvement in the sport in various ways, from advocating for cycling enthusiasts to working with children to share his love of the sport.

With Tudor as the main sponsor and Cancellara as the patron, the Tudor Pro Cycling Team is already fully-fledged with a roster of 16 athletes. Their very first event will be the Paris-Roubaix U23 race taking place later this month, with the team set to continue competing in the UCI Continental class for the remainder of the 2022 season. From there, the team will apply and gear up for the 2023 UCI ProTeam season, with the aim of competing at the top echelons of the sport the following year. Racing aside, the Tudor Pro Cycling Team will also maintain a development structure to scout and train the next generation of pro cyclists.
