Above Designed by Antonio Citterio, the Cross Personal is a beautiful fitness equipment that will elevate the interior of any home

First up was the Cross Personal, Technogym’s luxury elliptical trainer. As part of the Personal line, designed by the acclaimed Italian designer Antonio Citterio, the Cross Personal blends functionality with high design. Its sleek steel mirror finish and sophisticated lines make it a true work of art.

At first glance, it’s clear that the Cross Personal is not just another piece of workout equipment. It defies the usual clunky aesthetics of home gym gear, seamlessly integrating into even the most refined interiors. But it’s not all about looks—the Cross Personal is packed with advanced technology that delivers an exceptional workout experience.

Stepping onto the Cross Personal feels like boarding a futuristic machine designed for comfort and performance. The ergonomic design minimises joint impact, making it accessible for all fitness levels. The 15.6-inch console, a hallmark of Technogym’s Personal line, offers a seamless integration with the Technogym app, syncing almost instantly with my Iphone. This ecosystem supports a wide range of workout routines, from quick fat-burning sessions to comprehensive fitness regimens tailored to personal health goals.

With 25 resistance levels and a variety of workouts guided by virtual trainers offering real-time feedback, the Cross Personal keeps me motivated and on track as I shuffle between different sessions. Its high-performance Treble Dolby Surround speakers enhance the immersive experience, making every workout feel like a premium session. The experience is smooth and pleasant with no wobble, delivering a low-impact, whisper-quiet experience unlike other ellipticals I’ve tried.

Technogym Run

Tatler Asia
Above The Technogym Run treadmill is a must-have for any running enthusiast looking to elevate their running experience indoors

Running is arguably one of the most popular exercises in the world. Ask anyone and surely more than half of them would say their main exercise is running. It’s highly accessible due to it requiring minimal equipment, just put on a pair of running shoes, headphones, and you’re good to go. However the unpredictability of Malaysian weather gives rise to the importance of a good treadmill at home.

Enter the Technogym Run treadmill, a super stylish equipment which features a smart and sleek 27 inch console that’s compatible with any modern smartphone with the Technogym app. Users can watch Netflix or YouTube, check emails, or browse social media—perfect for multitasking or distracting themselves from a challenging run.

As an outdoor runner myself, I truly appreciate the virtual landscapes (based on real world locations) offered by the equipment which simulates a realistic outdoor training experience, with the treadmill adjusting speed and incline to match the terrain.

Safety and convenience are top priorities, reflected in the treadmill’s sturdy grip handles, non-slip edges, and emergency stop button. The large running surface, equipped with shock absorbers, ensures a comfortable and varied workout, while the silent motor handles everything from easy-paced walks to high-intensity marathon training with ease.

The Technogym Run offers one of the most realistic indoor running experiences I’ve encountered. The machine quickly adapts to changes in speed and incline, making interval training smooth and quiet, even at higher speeds. A unique feature is the ability to perform sled-push exercises by leaning forward and pushing against the belt’s resistance—a delightful surprise for those seeking a full-body, power workout.

All in all, this premium treadmill is perhaps the best equipment out there for those who are training for triathlons or marathons (especially when paired with Technogym Ride) or even just beginners who want the best possible training option.

Paired with the Technogym app, it provides access to hundreds of exercise routines, making it ideal for those who prioritise both style and substance in their fitness regimen.

Above The Technogym Kinesis Personal is an excellent equipment for those who prefer functional training but in an elegant setting

Lastly, the Technogym Kinesis Personal was the most innovative equipment I tried. Don’t let its stylish appearance fool you as this equipment packs a punch in terms of the exercise it gives.

While its sleek design lets it seamlessly blend into luxury homes and wellness spaces, the Kinesis Personal offers varied workout routines that targets multiple muscle groups. Capable of delivering over 200 exercise movements, the Kinesis Personal allows users to push, pull, squat, lunge, or twist, combining these actions into functional patterns for a new workout every day.

It is ideal for improving strength, coordination, flexibility, posture, and even breathing control, featuring its patented and trademarked FullGravity technology which activates the entire body with a 360-degree rotation system, enabling unrestricted movement, which I’m confident that athletes like tennis players, golfers, and padel enthusiasts will appreciate.
