After years of skipping her own birthday, Dr Vicki Belo finally agreed to celebrate—but only if she could share it with all Belo Babies born in January and February
For years, Dr Vicki Belo has been hesitant to celebrate her birthday due to a painful childhood memory. She shares that her birthday marked the day she was “given away” as an adopted child. But this year, the beloved doctor to the stars decided to embrace the love around her and celebrated in grand fashion.
On February 22, the Belo Medical Group organised a dazzling soirée at Kenneth Cobonpue’s newly opened Fable Café + Lounge in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It was Dr Belo’s first-ever celebration, shared with her closest friends, family and fellow “Belo Babies” who were also born in January and February.

“Those who know me are also aware that I don’t like to be greeted with a happy birthday on the same day I was ‘given away’ for adoption,” said Belo, who turned 69 on January 25. “But feeling the love and joy all around was really something else.” Celebrating with her were partner Dr Hayden Kho, Jr and daughters Cristalle Belo-Pitt and Scarlet Snow.
“After years of skipping her own birthday, Vicki finally agreed to celebrate— but only if she could share it with all our Belo Babies born in January and February! So, of course, we had to make it extra fun [and] special,” Dr Kho wrote on social media.

Dressed in a stunning embellished mini dress, Dr Belo shone among an exclusive guest list of Manila’s brightest stars. The intimate all-white affair brought together some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Anne Curtis, Georgina Wilson-Burnand, Liz Uy, Raymond Gutierrez, Alden Richards, Martin Nievera and Liza Soberano.
Members of the pop group BINI, Aiah and Jhoanna, also graced the event, along with Vhong Navarro, Alexa Ilacad, Francine Diaz, Donny Pangilinan and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi. Power couples like Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo, as well as personalities like Ruffa Gutierrez, Andrea Brillantes, Ivana Alawi and Anthony Pangilinan with wife, Maricel, added to the night’s glamour.

The evening was a heartfelt mix of elegance and fun, featuring lively games, luxurious prizes and special awards that made the celebration even more memorable.
Even eventologist Tim Yap made last-minute changes to be there for her, saying, “Vicki never celebrates her birthday—it’s just not her thing. So when Hayden called to tell me about this party, I knew it was special. I changed plans, bookings and flights to make sure I was present for Vicki when it mattered most.”
More than a first birthday celebration, the evening was an embodiment of what Dr Belo represents: confidence, individuality and community. Above all, it was a reminder that love can change even the hardest moments into something beautiful.
