If the future promises flying cars, the present offers innovative "e-cars" that do not run on petrol or diesel engine. Here is a list of e-vehicles you can get in the Philippine market today

The shift to electric cars in the near future is a topic that piqued the interests of environmentalists and car enthusiasts alike; for starters, an electric car produces no carbon emissions when driving, therefore reducing air pollution. All electric vehicles also have an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine that relies on gas.

People can charge the Nissan Leaf overnight just like a mobile phone. All they need to do is plug it into a standard 220V power source with a dedicated socket. They may also opt to install a wall-box charger for faster charging that will only last seven hours.

Quick charging stations are also available in select locations in the Philippines. Quick chargers can easily power up the Nissan Leaf to 80 per cent in just 40 minutes.
