The future of EVs in the Philippines is accelerating as Hongqi releases its latest all-electric vehicles
After entering the Philippine market in 2023, Hongqi Philippines has rapidly expanded its network in the country and is committed to redefining modern luxury and the driving experience. On May 27, the brand hosted an exclusive event at their newly opened Manila Bay Showroom to launch its latest all-electric vehicles, the EH7 sedan and EHS7 SUV.
As the automotive industry continues to progress toward sustainability, Hongqi hopes to elevate the standards of electric mobility by marrying performance with refinement.

Hongqi’s EH7 and EHS7 feature a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup that can output 610 horsepower and 756 Nm of torque—easily going from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and 3.9 seconds, respectively. Powering the vehicles is a 111 kWh battery pack that offers an exceptional driving range of up to 650 kilometres for the EH7 and 540 kilometres for the EHS7. Equipped with Hongqi’s fast charging technology, users can expect the cars to go from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in only 20 minutes.

The EH7 and EHS7’s overall exterior designs have both been reimagined from the ground up with Hongqi’s new visual design language—one that focuses on sharper lines with a profile that highlights aerodynamics.

Inside, the EH7 and EHS7 both feature hand-stitched Nappa leather seats with a sleek finish. Drivers and passengers can also enjoy a full suite of technological amenities and safety features, which have earned a five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme. Whether you’re cruising in the city or on a long-haul road trip, comfort is further enhanced by its Intelligent Damping Control System (IDCS), which adapts suspension settings in real-time, making potholes, speed bumps and any terrain a breeze to drive through.

Both the EH7 and EHS7 are offered in Executive and Flagship variants, with the latter adding premium features such as upgraded interior ambient lighting, advanced audio systems and a more powerful motor and battery.
