Be the first to experience the new Galaxy S23 series, packed with the latest technology and features

Samsung's first Galaxy Unpacked launch event of 2023, where it is expected to launch its Galaxy S23 series flagship smartphones, is set to take place in San Francisco on February 1 at 10am PST or February 2, 2am MYT.

Reports indicate that Samsung plans to open Galaxy Experience Spaces in their stores worldwide. Leaks also suggest that the Galaxy S23 series will consist of three devices: the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. The Samsung Experience Store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is where Galaxy fans can check out the new Galaxy devices in person mere hours after its global unveiling event.

The top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to feature the same vertically aligned triple camera setup as the S22 series and the S Pen stylus. The model is expected to feature a 200 Megapixel camera and maintains the ultrawide, 3x and 10x telephoto cameras last seen in last year's S22 Ultra. In addition, the new S23 Ultra boasts a new ISOCELL HP2 sensor that offers improved image processing. Other headline features include a 6.8-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and a large 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ sport the same design on the outside. The two smartphones carry the same triple camera array, consisting of a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 10MP telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. The S23 has a 6.1-inch display and a 3,900mAh battery with 25W charging, while the S23+ has a 6.6-inch display and a 4,700mAh battery with 45W charging.

All three devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and may feature Satellite Communications enabled in the second half of 2023.
